Suburra Urban Hostel is a modern hostel in the heart of Monti, Rome's liveliest and most authentic neighbourhood, three hundred metres from Cavour metro station and a ten-minute walk from the Colosseum. The four- to eight-bed dorms have bunk beds with privacy curtains, reading lights, USB sockets and padlocked lockers; for those who want more privacy there are also private double, twin and quadruple rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

On the ground floor, the bar with coffee and cocktails at student prices is the travellers' meeting point, and every evening the staff host an aperitivo on the terrace. Prima hostel voor een citytrip

Vier nachten in de gemengde slaapzaal. De bedden zijn beter dan gemiddeld, met gordijn en eigen lampje, en de kluisjes zijn ruim. De locatie in Monti is ideaal: overal leuke wijnbars en het Colosseum op tien minuten lopen. Het dakterras met aperitivo was gezellig. Het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen, maar de bar verkoopt goede koffie. Douches soms druk in de ochtend. Zeker een aanrader voor backpackers.

Отличный хостел рядом с Колизеем

Останавливалась на три ночи в женской комнате на шесть человек. Кровати удобные, у каждой шторка, лампа и розетка, шкафчик закрывается на замок. Кондиционер работал хорошо даже в июньскую жару. Персонал на ресепшене помог с билетами в Ватикан и объяснил, как добраться до аэропорта. Вечером на террасе аперитив, очень душевно. Район Монти сам по себе прекрасен: кафе, винные бары, до Колизея пешком десять минут.

Great social hostel in the best neighbourhood

Stayed four nights in the eight-bed dorm. Beds have curtains, a reading light and USB sockets, so you actually sleep well. Lockers are big enough for a backpack. The evening aperitivo on the terrace is a brilliant way to meet people, and Monti itself is full of wine bars and cheap trattorias. Showers could be cleaner in the morning rush, but staff were friendly and helpful at any hour.

Bonne ambiance, dortoir un peu bruyant

Auberge bien située dans le quartier de Monti, avec une équipe accueillante et un bar sympa pour rencontrer d'autres voyageurs. Le lit était confortable et le rideau apporte une vraie intimité. En revanche, le dortoir de huit donnait sur la rue et les retours tardifs le week-end m'ont réveillé plusieurs fois. La cuisine commune est propre et la consigne à bagages gratuite est très pratique le jour du départ.
