Serpenti Rooftop Rooms is a design hotel in the Monti district, on a street of ateliers and wine bars an eight-minute walk from the Colosseum. The 18 rooms, created by a Roman studio, play with exposed concrete, brass and warm fabrics; each one features a work by a local artist. Soundproofed windows, queen or king beds, minibars stocked with Lazio products and rain showers with natural toiletries.
The real star is the sixth-floor rooftop: à la carte breakfast with eggs, pancakes and fresh juices until 11, then a bar serving sunset cocktails in front of the illuminated Colosseum. Cavour metro station is three hundred metres away. The choice for style-conscious travellers, couples and anyone wanting an authentic neighbourhood with the monuments a short stroll away.

Hotel moderno y precioso en un barrio con mucho encanto. La habitación tenía un diseño cuidado hasta el último detalle, cama enorme y ventanas insonorizadas: no se oía nada. El desayuno a la carta en la azotea con vistas al Coliseo fue lo mejor del viaje. El personal nos recomendó una enoteca fantástica. A cinco minutos del metro Cavour. Volveríamos mañana mismo.
One of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in. The Deluxe room was beautifully designed, with a huge bed, a rain shower and total silence thanks to the soundproofed windows. Breakfast on the rooftop with the Colosseum in front of you is surreal, and the eggs were cooked to order. Staff were young, friendly and full of tips for Monti. Cocktails at sunset are a must.

Modern designhotel in de leukste wijk van Rome. Onze Junior Suite was ruim, met een geweldig bed, een regendouche en een minibar met lokale producten. Het ontbijt op het dakterras met uitzicht op het Colosseum is uniek, al was de bediening wat traag op zaterdag. Het personeel was hartelijk en gaf goede tips. De metro Cavour ligt om de hoek.
Camera Superior curatissima, con opere d'arte, cemento e ottone che a sorpresa danno calore. Letto queen comodissimo, doccia a pioggia perfetta. La colazione sul rooftop è lenta ma di qualità, con uova strapazzate ottime. Aperitivo al tramonto con il Colosseo davanti: da fare. Monti è il quartiere più bello di Roma per passeggiare la sera. Unica pecca, l'ascensore lento.
酒店在蒙蒂区，离斗兽场步行八分钟，离地铁Cavour站很近。房间设计非常现代，水泥墙配黄铜灯具，床很大很舒服，隔音效果好。屋顶餐厅早餐可以点单，鸡蛋和煎饼都很新鲜，而且能直接看到斗兽场。傍晚在屋顶酒吧喝鸡尾酒看夕阳特别浪漫。前台会讲英语，很热情。电梯有点慢，其他都很好。
