Residenza dei Lucchesi brings together seven apartments and a studio in a historic building on Via dei Lucchesi, two hundred metres from the Trevi Fountain yet away from the tourist bustle. Every unit has been renovated with original terrazzo floors, fitted kitchens with coffee machine and dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning and Smart TV. The fifth-floor penthouse has a private terrace facing the Quirinale Palace.
Check-in is self-service, with a code sent on the day of arrival, but the host replies via chat within minutes and knows every corner of the neighbourhood. The local market and bakeries are a few minutes' walk away, and the Barberini stop on metro line A is eight minutes on foot.

Fijn appartement met twee slaapkamers voor ons gezin. Alles was schoon, de keuken was compleet en de airco deed het goed tijdens de warme dagen in juni. De ligging is geweldig: de Trevifontein om de hoek en Piazza Navona op tien minuten lopen. Wij misten een wasrek voor de was, maar de host bracht er meteen een. Aanrader.
Abbiamo prenotato l'attico per un weekend lungo e la terrazza con vista sul Quirinale ci ha conquistati. Cucina completa, letto king comodissimo, lavatrice e persino una piccola cantinetta con vini del Lazio. L'host ci ha lasciato una guida con i suoi ristoranti preferiti, tutti azzeccati. Check-in con codice semplicissimo. Il portone è un po' pesante, ma è un dettaglio.
Wir hatten das Studio für fünf Nächte. Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen, der Trevi-Brunnen ist zwei Minuten entfernt, trotzdem war es nachts völlig ruhig. Die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht, inklusive Geschirrspüler und guter Kaffeemaschine. Der Aufzug ist klein, aber vorhanden. Einziger Wunsch: eine zweite Nachttischlampe. Sonst absolut empfehlenswert.
The one-bedroom apartment was spotless and much bigger than the photos suggest. Fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine that saved us mid-trip, and a quiet bedroom at the back. Self check-in was easy and the host replied within minutes when we asked about the coffee machine. You can hear the Trevi crowds in the distance during the day, but nights were silent.
