Domus Farnese is a small bed & breakfast on the second floor of an 18th-century palazzetto between Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Farnese. The six rooms are bright and well kept, with parquet floors, air conditioning, TV and a small coffee machine. The recently renovated bathrooms have spacious showers and complimentary toiletries. Marta and Paolo, the owners, have lived in the neighbourhood all their lives and bake cakes and make cappuccinos every morning, served in the common room or straight to your room. They know the best trattorias and when to visit the Pantheon without queuing. Suited to couples and solo travellers looking for a homely atmosphere at an honest price in the heart of Rome.

Un B&B pequeño y muy acogedor a un paso de Campo de' Fiori. La habitación triple estaba perfecta para nosotros tres, limpia y con aire acondicionado potente. El desayuno con tartas caseras es una delicia. Paolo nos explicó cómo ir al Vaticano y nos reservó una trattoria buenísima. Se oye algo de ruido de la calle, pero nada grave. Muy recomendable.
Heerlijk klein B&B midden in het centrum, op honderd meter van Campo de' Fiori. Onze kamer was niet groot maar brandschoon, met een goede airco en een fijne douche. Het ontbijt met zelfgebakken taart en cappuccino werd op de kamer gebracht. Marta gaf ons fantastische restauranttips. Het is 's avonds wel wat rumoerig op straat, dus lichte slapers nemen best oordopjes mee.
Marta and Paolo are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to help us. The single room was compact, as expected in central Rome, but spotless and well equipped with a coffee machine and a decent shower. Breakfast in the common room was homemade and generous. The lift is a lifesaver. Some noise from the square on weekend nights, otherwise perfect.
Camera doppia pulita e ben arredata, con aria condizionata silenziosa e un bagno nuovo. La colazione con le torte di Marta è stata la sorpresa più bella: ogni giorno una diversa. Posizione imbattibile per girare il centro a piedi. Un po' di rumore la sera dal vicolo, ma con le finestre chiuse si dorme bene. Torneremo sicuramente.
