Domus Cavour occupies the upper floors of a late-19th-century palazzo on Via Cavour, the thoroughfare linking Termini to the Imperial Forums, one hundred and fifty metres from the metro. The apartments, from studio to penthouse, have equipped kitchens with oven and dishwasher, a washing machine, smart TV, air conditioning in every room and new windows that keep the traffic noise well at bay. The building has a lift and a daytime porter.
The streets of Monti, with their trattorias, workshops and Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, begin just around the corner; the Colosseum is a ten-minute walk away, Santa Maria Maggiore five. Excellent for families and for anyone arriving by train with plenty of luggage: Termini station is a single metro stop or a fifteen-minute walk.

Bilocale spazioso e pulito con due bagni, cucina completa e aria condizionata in tutte le stanze. Ci hanno lasciato le chiavi in portineria e il check-in è stato immediato. Monti a due passi, Colosseo a dieci minuti, metro sotto casa: impossibile chiedere di meglio con tre bambini. Via Cavour è trafficata ma con le finestre chiuse non si sente nulla.
Die Wohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer war modern, sauber und gut ausgestattet: Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, schnelles WLAN. Die neuen Fenster halten den Verkehrslärm der Via Cavour gut ab. Zur Metro sind es zwei Minuten, zum Kolosseum zehn. Die Schlüsselübergabe lief problemlos über den Portier. Ein Frühstückscafé gibt es direkt gegenüber. Für Familien sehr empfehlenswert.
Appartement propre et fonctionnel, à deux pas du métro Cavour. Cuisine bien équipée, lave-linge, lits confortables. Le quartier de Monti est charmant le soir, avec de bonnes trattorias. Le penthouse avec sa terrasse privée vaut le supplément : vue sur Sainte-Marie-Majeure au petit-déjeuner. Bruit de circulation en journée, mais les doubles vitrages sont efficaces. Pas d'annulation gratuite, attention.
Great location on Via Cavour, one metro stop from Termini and a short walk from the Forum. The studio was compact but had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a good coffee machine. The building has a lift, which helped with luggage. Street noise is noticeable if you open the windows. Cancellation policy is strict, so book only when sure.
Distances are measured in a straight line from Piazza Venezia.
