Il Boschetto is a five-room bed and breakfast on the second floor of a 19th-century building on Via del Boschetto, Monti's street of vintage boutiques and wine bars. The rooms, with soundproofed windows, air conditioning and Carrara marble bathrooms, are furnished with mid-century pieces hand-picked by owner Silvia, who prepares breakfast every morning with home-baked cakes, cured meats and cheeses from the neighbourhood market.

The location is ideal for exploring Rome on foot: Cavour metro is three hundred metres away, the Imperial Forums and the Colosseum ten minutes, Santa Maria Maggiore just up the hill. Silvia knows the neighbourhood's restaurants and is happy to book a table for her guests; the atmosphere is that of an elegant private home, not a hotel.

Ein kleines Juwel in Monti. Unser Doppelzimmer war geschmackvoll mit Vintage-Möbeln eingerichtet, die Klimaanlage leise und die schallisolierten Fenster hielten den Straßenlärm draußen. Das Frühstück mit hausgemachtem Kuchen, Obst und Käse vom Markt war das beste unserer Reise. Silvia ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin mit vielen Tipps. Kein Aufzug, aber die Treppen sind machbar. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Silvia è una padrona di casa straordinaria: colazione abbondante con torte appena sfornate, consigli precisi e una prenotazione al volo in una trattoria fantastica. La camera superior era silenziosissima grazie ai doppi vetri, con letto comodo e bagno in marmo impeccabile. Via del Boschetto è la strada più bella di Monti. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente per il centro di Roma.

民宿在蒙蒂区一条很有格调的小街上，楼下就是古着店和葡萄酒吧。房间不大但隔音很好，床垫舒服，浴室是大理石的，热水很足。女主人每天早上亲手做蛋糕，还有当地市场的火腿和奶酪，非常丰盛。她帮我们预订了餐厅，还画了步行路线。走到斗兽场只要十分钟，地铁Cavour站三百米。强烈推荐。

Everything about Il Boschetto felt personal. The junior suite had a small balcony over the street, a king bed and a Nespresso machine, and the soundproof windows really work: Monti was lively below but we slept perfectly. Breakfast was different every day, with homemade cakes and local cheese. Silvia booked us a table at a wine bar we would never have found. Ten minutes to the Forum on foot.
